Do you need a ticket for each bus you get on? Or is it based purely on journey time? For example I need to get the 84 - then the 61 for when i go to the airport. If i just buy a 60 min ticket for the whole journey is that OK?

Visiting Bratislava 15 October for 1 week. Can we buy the 168 hours ticket (11.40 euros) from the machine at the airport? Also, one of us is 69, can we buy the reduced fare at 5.70 euros from the machine and support this by carrying passport? Does the machine accept credit card payment (mastercard) ?

Many thanks

Hi Peter,

please go through this guide ( https://bratislava-slovakia.eu/about/public-transport ) and this public transport maps ( https://bratislava-slovakia.eu/map ) of Bratislava.

Otherwise use the national journey planner (http://cp.atlas.sk/bus/spojenie/ ) - switch to English at the bottom of the page.

Jakub
