Prague has direct connection with Budapest with 10+ departures per day. The journey takes approximately 7 hours and 15 minutes.

There are two main operators providing direct connection between Prague and Budapest:

  • RegioJet
  • Orangeways
  • Arda Tur

Buses of both operators depart from Florenc Bus Station, but they have different arrival stations in Budapest. RegioJet arrives to Budapest, Könyves Kálmán k.,Népliget, bus st. 901 BKV/Szöglet presszó, Orangeways arrives to Budapest OrangeWays bus station - Stadion FTC Népliget, Arda Tur to Albert Flоriаn ut.12,1097

Both operators have regular service between Prague and Budapest. Little differences are just in frequency, pricing and comfort. Prices can vary between 20.00 and 52.00 EUR, because it depends on the amount of available seats.

From Florenc bus station - near Prague city center - you can hop on the RegioJet, Arda Tur, Infobus at Florenc bus station. All companies have frequent coverage of departures approximately every 120 minutes. First buses depart around 5am and last ones at 11pm. RegioJet arrives to Budapest, Könyves Kálmán k.,Népliget, bus st. 901 BKV/Szöglet presszó. Orangeways arrives to Budapest OrangeWays bus station - Stadion FTC Népliget and Arda Tur arrives to Albert Flоriаn ut.12,1097.

From Budapest city - RegioJet departs from Budapest, Könyves Kálmán k.,Népliget, bus st. 901 BKV/Szöglet presszó since 6:45am to 23:15am every 120-180 minutes. Orangeways departs from Budapest OrangeWays bus station - Stadion FTC Népliget at 7:00am and 1:30pm. Arda Tur is not having regular connection from Budapest to Prague.
