I will be staying in Budapest for 10 days next year. I would like to travel to Bratislava on one of these days. Do I have to buy a ticket on line if not where I can buy a ticket . Plus I am a senior over 65. Will I get a discount ? It will just be a day trip. Look forward to your response.

Hi Sandra Hindmarch,

yes, there is a discount, just ask the cashier. You need to buy the ticket in advance at a desk located somewhere at the bus station, or right through our page (above).

Have a nice trip!

I would like to know if it is possible to transport bicycles by bus from Budapest to Bratislava.

We are a group of 8 people and we need to go from Budapest to Bratislava and carry with us our bicycle on August 20 or 21, 2015.

Thanks for your prompt reply.

Best wishes.

Hi Elisa Braghi,

I would guess so, but perhaps they have to be dismantled and placed in the cargo area. However, to be sure, rather contact the bus service provider, since I would not take this for granted.

Hi Rafa,

after your arrival to Bratislava airport, get a bus number 61 to get to Bratislava train station. From there, we recommend to go by train:
