Designer and Luxury Fashion Shopping in Bratislava

Until a few years ago Bratislava had very limited choice of designer brand shops. Recently, new shops and department stores featuring some of the more prominent global fashion designers have sprung up both around the Old Town and in shopping malls. The selection is stil much more limited than in the neighbouring Vienna or in the Czech capital Prague.

Old Town and City Centre Designer Shops
Betty Barclay on Poštová Street was one of the first designer brands established in Slovakia. The pedestrian zone of the Old Town offers another luxury fashion shops. The design studio Dana Kleinert situated in the historic building of Academia Istropolitana on Venturská Street offers not only designer clothes, but unique hand-made accessories (handbags, shoes, scarves, mufflers, jewellery etc.) as well. Max Mara is another top designer brand situated in the pedestrian zone. To the designer shops located on Venturska Street belongs as well the world famous Trussardi.

Lacoste is located on Strakova Street close to Alain Delon on Panská Street. The three Art Fashion shops on Panská and Laurinská Street offer various designer brands including Versace, Iceberg, D&G and Cesare Patiotti.

Laurinská Street provides really a wide selection of designers shops including Jacadi Paris, HT Fashion (Versace, GF Ferre, D&G, Esté), Nine (Versace, GF Ferre, Roccobarocco). Art Hotel William offers designer brands of Armani, Armani Junior, CK and Calvin Klein Jeans, GF Ferre, Iceberg and Roberto Cavalli.

Shopping centre Alize on Hurbanovo Squire offers a wide range of designer brands of both women's and men's fashion including Jean Paul Gaultier, Givenchy, Chloe, Valentino, Gianfranco Ferre, Pal Zileri, Jacadi, Kenzo, Elle, Timberland and DKNY.

Designer Shops in Shopping Malls
The amount of designer fashion shops has been expanding even due to the growing number of shopping malls. The offer of the designer fashion shops in the shopping malls is nearly the same with small exceptions.

Aupark Shopping Center provides the widest selection of designer brands. Within the men's fashion designer brands can be found Alain Delon, Carlo Colucci, Daniel Hechter/Louis Ferraud, Gant Men, Pierre Cardin. The women's designer fashion includes Carlo Colucci, Chantall, Daniel Hechter/Louis Ferraud, Gant Women, Trussardi. Among jeans shops there are Diesel, Levi's, Tommy Hilfiger and Mustang/Tom Tailor.

Polus City Center also offers a growing selection of designer shops. In addition to the already mentioned brands of Alain Delon, Chantall, Levi's, Pierre Cardin and Tommy Hilfiger Polus also offers DENIM, Emanuel Ungaro, H.I.S Lee Wrangler, Pal Varsay and Pepe Jeans London.

Shopping Palace provides the smallest designer shops offer with brands including Mustang and Otto Berg.

Avion Shopping Park offers Alain Delon, Calliope, Levi's, Mustang Jeans and Otto Berg.
